Chinesepod is one of the best Mandarin learning platforms with over 4,000 videos and millions of engaged viewers worldwide. I worked with Chinesepod as the host and script writer.
As the host "Jamie Ning", I brought out a likable and funny character with distinctive style to the screen, connecting viewers in an authentic way. In addition to hosting on camera, I wrote scripts for all sketches and talk shows I participated in, infusing each episode with a unique blend of educational value and humor.
I created and led my own series, Shanghai Street Style with Jamie, where I took charge of writing, hosting, and helping to produce the episodes. Alongside my solo series, I co-hosted various successful talk show series, including "At the Office Series," "Joke Series," "Intermediate Level Talk Show," and more. I hosted and wrote more than 50 popular talk shows and sketches in Chinese, English, and bilingual formats but also scripted and co-produced the content, earning consistently positive feedback.
