Jamie Wang

writer, translator, comedian

I am a freelance writer and translator by day, a standup comedian by night, and a curious thinker at all time. Versatile in playing various roles, my common thread is a deep passion for writing, creating, and different cultures. I am creative, articulate, inquisitive, and to a large degree, fearless.

For comedian portfolio please see home page.

About

I came from solid liberal-art background. Years of systematical training under history and philosophy program has endowed me with great writing ability and sharpened my critical thinking, providing a unique perspective.

I have excellent multilingual and multicultural competencies. My oversea experiences (Canada, Taiwan, Belgium) have built me up with an open mind and an understanding of different cultures,  I work seamlessly with cross-cultural teams.

As a standup comedian, creativity and flexibility are my greatest strengths. Not only am I capable of writing different formats of copy and content, but my agile mind is filled with curiosity, always coming up with unconventional approaches. I will surprise you, in a very good way.
